About the Kiwi Club: The Kiwi Club has been around for years: we became incorporated as a non-profit in 1994, and the club was going well before that (the summer barbecue has been happening every year since the 1970s, we're told!). We're always open to new members. We aim to be welcoming to everyone: Kiwis, friends of Kiwis, people who like meeting Kiwis, whoever...! Our focus is essentially social. We cooperate on many occasions with other groups in New York such as KEA (a business-networking oriented group), the New Zealand Consulate General in New York (which provides consular services and is also the local office of New Zealand Trade and Enterprise), the New Zealand Mission to the UN, and other groups. We have a membership fee which gets you discounts to our non-free events and other special offers (e.g. discount NZ lamb!), but you don't have to have paid membership fees to come to the drinks night. Why not come along and meet us? See our website www.kiwiclubny.org for more information about who we are and photos of our previous events!
